Breakfast Club, The Birds, a tad Psycho and Hitchcock in a Disney cap and gown! Anthony Michael Hall in the Simple Minds t-shirt is a great touch. Judy Blume....uh..tales of a 4th grade nothing... heehee.
I absolutely  everything about this one...liked how your portrayed Paul Gleason (nice touch) :+fav:

Heh...let me know an estimated ETA because I do not want to be in the bathroom at that point...What ever happened to Judge Reinhold?
Just looking through your gallery again...man I would love to take some paint lessons from you, I am tired of the pastels and colored pencils....but I cannot paint worth a squat.

What chu' talkin bout Man-I need lessons from YOU!!! Im kinda the same way with other mediums at this point-Its a use it or lose it thing and I just cant reach the required results without using my usual medium etc. I cant do a colored pencil without breaking out the acrylics to go over what I couldnt learn/achieve..Yeah man- the last I saw Judge was in Vice Versa with the wonder years kid-a total Freaky Friday rip-off{aint seen that in Yearrrrrsssss}Loved it though..Hopefully the Time Machine doesnt poop out like "the Fly" machine and morph/gene splice me into something weird-Haaaaa!

Vice Versa hell yeah...caught that about a month ago on cable. Last time I had seen it was the 80's. It's so dated now, especially when he hops up onstage with...Helix? Ha ha.
"The Fly" is classic...I need to do a drawing of that...or you? Need to include the course hairs on the back. Eeek.
So can I ask you...do you water down your acrylics or paint straight up with them. I have tried about five times in my life, I will do a decent base drawing on a illustration board. My sister always told me to water them down, then build up the flesh tones with a yellow first. So I do that, and they dry out so fast, that I cannot mix the next color because...it's already dry. I don't know, I just have never had a working knowledge of them. The great thing about colored pastels or pencils is I just start with a flesh color and add from there. I guess they sell flesh acrylic though...so maybe she doesnt know what she's talking about. Ha well I have probably thoroughly confused you here...I don't know I just guess I should take a class or something. Another guy at work told me just paint with them straight and don't mix them, but then it's like mud. Arghh!

Dude-I could show you in 2 minutes-and explaining is hard because Im not a good explainer;)Haaaaa!! With flesh I just mix up the darkest tone{yellow/red/and alittle purple to make it almost darkish brown} then just lay it down in sections thick-THEN start using watery dilutions to work from the dark into lighter pinks and orangey shades..When the face is completed-If the thing looks too browny/monochromatic, ill go over the entire face with a watery yellow to even out the appearance of warmth..So-Yeah-Its just watery thin layers..As with the paint drying=What I do when starting/preparing my palate- is just dilute each color with enough water so the consistancy is like whipped cream almost. That way you probably have 4-5 hrs before the stuff starts to dry out{and then just keep diluting it as time goes on} Our mediums are closer in application than one might think-Its all the layers concept-meaning the biggest no-no is to not place any darker color in an area before youre sure its permanancy belongs-{I just always remember trying to go over/do over an area with white and having the color always bleed through} Enough of my yappin-You rock man-Whatta ya think?;)
