Nice fat Elvis. I assume he is the cabin boy? Great joke with the Yokohontas. Did you start with that and work your way into this concept, or did you start with colonization and work your way towards the Yokohontas pun?

It all was part of the "soup"..It was painted for a Jamestown 400th birthday thing here in Virginia-so I figured make John Smith -John Lennon etc-It went well and I got 3rd place in the juried exhibition..I did it in 4 days to make the deadline- so any empty space you see was painted an hour before I had to drop it off- Good Times..Good Times..

3rd place, thats great! They say you cant force art, but you can fake it if you have to! The fact there was empty "rushed space" on the canvass didn't even register. Apparently, it didn't register for the judges either. Way to slip one past em.
